ATI 7000显卡装双显示器的问题

各位前辈，我安装双显示器遇到一些问题
在我修改了 /etc/X11/xorg.conf之后，两个显示器仍然显示相同
看了一些网上的文章
好像需要安装ati的驱动
但是看前面帖子说fglrx不支持9500以前的显卡
我现在用的是ubuntu6.10自带的ati显卡驱动

这是不是就是说我这块ATIRadeon7000的显卡在ubuntu底下没法作bigdesktop的双屏输出了？
